I feel like there’s a misunderstanding here. I don’t mean manbun as being the literal hairstyle. When I say ‘manbun’ i mean the fact that “alternative man who wears a manbun” is usually the kind of guy that is profoundly boring and unrelatable, with boring and unrelatable music. Hozier happens to be a Man With A Bun, but his alternative music is good, unlike the usual greasyguy manbun sadguitar that plagues the alternative channel of apple music.
