Concept: one of those “each alien species has exactly one Special Thing” settings, except the Special Thing that each species is famous (or infamous!) for has nothing to do with their actual physiological advantages. Like, there’s a species of flying telekinetic squid – the only species with telekinetic powers in the entire galaxy, in fact – but the thing they’re known for among other species is being excellent chefs.
