The entire concept of having a rocket powered prosthetic in a stealth video game
The fact that it’s literally the most stealthy way to go about this mission
The fact that you’re using it on a 12 year old terror who’s waiting for you to come so he can show off his dramatic Lord Of The Flies imagery and make a dramatic introduction
And how he just slides off of his garden chair throne completely not getting a chance to do any of that

Just…. whoever said mgsv sucks isnt enjoying it the right way, just watch this video if you need a reminder
when u grow up having issues with ur body and/or not being thin, ur personal style doesn’t have the chance to develop in a normal way bc a) the clothes you wear ultimately serve the purpose of hiding or disguising ur body and b) clothing stores and opshops Didn’t Have The Range for people bigger than a size 10 until very recently. a lot of ur fashion sense tends to be theoretical but u struggle to really actualise it or wear the outfits u want to wear bc of esteem issues, not having access to clothes that fit u right, etc. stylish fat people are braver than us marines
Things I like about this decal on a restaurant window:
-the insane orange waiter
-that he’s carrying his plates in the air like a strongman
-the couple looks like this isn’t the first time he’s done this, but it’s easier to just let it happen at this point.
-the sign says PASTA as if he’s screaming it like a frankenstein
-but he’s holding a plate of an entire chicken and a plate of wine glasses
-there’s three wine glasses
-one’s for him.
The two STUNT QUEENS above are Barbara Gittings and Isabel Miller. Their table was getting zero professional interest at the 1971 American Library Association Conference in Dallas, so they decided to pull a stunt not at all connected to libraries! And that was a gay kissing booth. The very first-ever gay kissing booth in the world!! In Barbara’s own words:
“What happened was, we decided to bypass books and show gay love, live! So we called it, “Hug a Homosexual.” And we stripped it down to the bare gray curtains and we had a sign up, “Men Only” at one end. And “Women Only” at the other. And we stationed ourselves, all four of us, under the signs, to give free, mind you, free, same-sex kisses and hugs. Well, let me tell you, the aisles were jammed, but nobody came into the booth!
People were rather intimidated. Yes, the lights were on and all these people jammed in the aisles, craning their necks to see the action, but nobody wanted to take part. So we did the action. We kissed and embraced each other for two hours. We handed out copies of gay bibliography. We called out encouragement. We kissed and hugged each other some more. That really put us on the map.
So there we were on the six o’clock news and the library people were livid! They said, “We have all these famous authors here and all they cover is this kissing booth!”
They put us on the six o’clock news. They put us again on the eleven o’clock news and again the next morning. This was news! It was wonderful. Really, our spirits soared because we… You know, really, the booth also had a message that was useful in any arena. And that is that gay people are not willing anymore to be subject to a special double standard. We should have the same right to express our affection publicly as heterosexuals have. No more, but no less.
For 1971, it was bold. It was revolutionary. We thought it was marvelous. It was really, it was a thrill. And the reaction. Oh! They wrote about us in the library press for the next six months!”
Well maybe if Video Game Blacksmith had a better business model, he wouldn’t have this problem. You want my money, don’t try to charge me 37 gold for a piece of armour that I encounter every time I open a chest. I don’t even bother to pick it up anymore, because the market’s flooded– hell, if I try to sell it to YOU you will only give me 2 pieces of gold, and that’s not worth hauling around 12 pounds of steel plate. Oh, sure, you’ll stock that “cool” piece now that I’m level 20, but I already took one just like it off a troll under a bridge. By the time I’m level 22, I won’t even think of it as a cool piece anymore and I’ll be sick of seeing it in chests. I’m really hazy on your marketing strategy, Video Game Blacksmith. Are you refusing to sell me the good stuff up front so that I will constantly be giving you money to upgrade to slightly-less-shitty armour? Like planned obsolescence? Or did you conclude that because a piece is lying in half of the chests in the kingdom now it must be a hot seller? That chest piece right there? I found a better one that that last week on a wolf. Not a direwolf. Not a possessed wolf. Like, a wolf. You know, the dog equivalent of the racist grandfather. I’m don’t know why he was carrying it– or the 15 silver, for that matter– and I have no idea HOW, but you’re selling shit that even wild animals are carrying. Fuck your “Millennials are killing the video game blacksmith industry” and make me some shit that’s gonna help me with the dragon I gotta fight on Tuesday. ‘Cos you know as soon as that dragon’s ass hits the ground, you’ll be stocking stuff I really could have used in the fight, and I’ll be pulling something out of his corpse that’s better than anything you’ve got in the store.
