This is how I used to teach a couple of students how to create vehicles or weird creatures when they had trouble coming up with ideas

• turning weaned calves out into group pens is A++++
• When they want to PLAY they do a bouncy frolicky thing. also when they are turned out to pasture
• they’re obsessed with licking people, if you’re bent over doing something they’ll come and lick u because you can’t resist
• they give hugs!!!! cow hugs are LIFE
• they love love love scratchies and they will love u if you give them scratchies
• when they dream they usually dream of licking things, based on tongue movements :’)
• cows’ dew laps, I love them a lot
• when one cow comes over to Investigate soon they’ll be a whole herd circling you
• Those videos of cows hearing someone playing music and surrounding them
• when calves are born and they stand up on their own within the hour, it’s really neat
• they’re so tough!!
• Holstein specific but I love seeing what different spot patterns they have – all of them are unique!
• when you lay fresh straw down and check back in a little bit and they’re just laying down looking super content… like ur welcome girls 💖💖💖
• if u feed cows seaweed their methane emissions are severely reduced
• also if u graze cows right they can create carbon sinks which absorb CO2 from the air, it’s really great
• cheese…. beef….

Loving animals and also eating them or their byproducts is valid and still wholesome. The trade off is you give them a better life in exchange for (sometimes) a shorter one. Same with chickens, pigs, etc.

I don’t know if you have considered this but stop smoking in areas where people are forced to wait at. Don’t smoke at crosswalks. Don’t smoke outside doorways. Don’t smoke at bus stops. People with asthma or other breathing conditions or people that idk DON’T WANT TO BREATHE IN YOUR CIGARETTE SMOKE are trying to get to places and need to be able to breathe. Stop smoking in crowded areas. stop smoking in crowded areas. STOP FORCING NONSMOKERS TO SECOND HAND SMOKE. 

This may be news to some people, but this applies to marijuana too.

This actually also applies to vapes. My asthma goes off to even vape smoke, it’s not harmless, there are particulates in it that other peoples lungs can and are affected by.

You do not have the right to force anyone else to smoke or vape your fumes.

Y’all don’t have the right to tell me not to do that anyways. If I don’t see a sign that says “no smoking” then I’m gonna light up. Your asthma doesn’t trump my acute anxiety disorder and as unhealthy as it is smoking a cigarette, or a blunt, calms me down. It’s a two way street people 🤷🏼‍♂️

Only exception for me is when little kids are around. Then I’ll put my shit away.

I have a crippling anxiety disorder. I also am an ex-smoker who used to self-medicate my anxiety with smoking, and I’m telling you you’re a fucking jackass.

Go ahead and smoke, that’s your prerogative. You have zero right, however, to claim that your anxiety disorder takes precedence over other people’s health. You have options to deal with your anxiety. Other people don’t have alternative lungs. I’m glad to hear you’re not such a raging asshole against kids, but at what age do you lose your consideration for other people?

Go find a private place to smoke. I’m glad to hear that it helps you, because I know how awful anxiety is, but you are 100% in the wrong here, buddy. Since you’re the one smoking substances that affect other people negatively with shit like, idk, cancer, it’s your responsibility to make it so that your coping mechanism affects only you.

i’m so tired of people justifying cultural appropriation by saying things like “Actual Chinese People ™ from mainland china don’t care that this non-chinese person is wearing a cheongsam!” and acting like this is evidence that cultural appropriation is just an issue made up by Oversensitive Special Snowflakes

like… ok… sure, of course mainland chinese people would care less about who wears cheongsam. but you’re kind of missing the whole point. most of the poc i’ve seen who are upset about cultural appropriation aren’t mainlanders. they’re fckn diaspora. 

nobody in mainland china is going to judge you if you wear a cheongsam to a formal event. but let’s pretend you’re the asian chick in your mostly-white school in the US, and your mom pushes you to wear a cheongsam to prom. you’re probably going to get the “oh of course the asian girl wears her asian dress to prom” reaction from the people around you. so you fight your mom about the cheongsam, because you want to fit in with Everyone Else. you don’t want to be the Chinky Girl in the Chinky Dress. 

your beautiful cheongsam sits in your closet, until one day, a stray clothes hanger snags on the lace overlay and shreds your dress and you throw it out.

and then a few years later, you see some white girl wearing the dress your mom wanted you to wear, but you were too ashamed to wear because you didn’t want to be a stereotype.

and that’s the frickin difference. mainlanders don’t experience the same things as people who are diaspora. they’re not gonna have the same perspective. there are no societal repercussions stopping them from expressing themselves culturally. their experiences ARE NOT THE SAME. stop using the opinions of people living in China to invalidate the experiences of Chinese Americans. thanks
