The first episode of My Little Pony honestly gave us such a good idea of how the mane six react when they see a cute mare they like.

Pinkie Pie: “Ooh! I’ve gotta plan her a party!”
Rainbow Dash: “Alright, time to show her my moves!”
Applejack: “I gotta give her some food! SHE’S PRACTICALLY FAMILY!”
Rarity: “Oh I simply MUST give her a makeover!”
Fluttershy: “…I should talk to the cute animal she has.”

And Twilight herself we see several times: “NO I actually DON’T like her, shut UP.”

Honestly Applejack is the ultimate u-haul lesbian because she sees a cute girl and instantly she’s practically family.

She went out that same afternoon and bought a ring and then came home and asked Granny Smith what they should name their fifth foal.

Also in the show most of the ponies look roughly the same but we can tell that Twilight is canonically like a whole new level of beautiful because all of the mane six instantly fell in love with her even though she was an awkward jerk to all of them the entire time. Moondancer and her other friends in Canterlot, too. She was never nice to any of them. She’s the pony everypony wants to know even though she doesn’t want to know anypony.
