Honestly if bowsette has taught me anything its that straight men can be openly horny for anything in mainstream video games and it will become a funny trend everyone hops on and won’t ruin the rep of that character, video game, or its fandom, but the second women and queer people do it, esp to an indie video game with queer characters in it everyone was looking for an excuse to hate on anyway, it all becomes #MegaCringe

And the thing that gets me is that for all the branding of Undertale as the Ultimate Cringe Fandom, at the very beginning of it all was a wave of drawings of Toriel with giant goat MILF tiddies, but the real descent into infamy only started when fangirls and LGBT+ kids and other marginalized folks fell in love with Sans, and apparently their getting attached to and finding comfort in a likely representation of depression was too much for the internet.
