hey folks! me and @aughtpunk want to make a zine we’re tentatively titling ‘Let Mercy Say Fuck,’ and it’d be a zine dedicated to letting Mercy be more than a bland maternal figure in the background of every fic. we want angry mercy, lazy mercy, day-drinking mercy, all the fun character traits people tend to give every character EXCEPT her. we’re looking for people who have experience getting a zine together. it would most likely be just a pdf and not printed. i’m asking around in several places, so if you know anyone, please dm me or @aughtpunk!

Not only was the performance done on 20 minutes notice, she had no rehearsal and simply heard Pavarotti’s rehearsal once on a goddamn tape player and just listened, nodded and said she could do it. the most famous opera song in the world, on one of the biggest nights for music in the world, no rehearsal, and she just went out and did it.
